It does not have to because you can't sell a quest item directly. Quest items do not show up in the trade interface. You cannot sell it directly. If you had it inside a container and you sold the container, you can lose it that way. They do show up in trade interface. Like i was able to sell lohar's head for 1 coin.There's Helm, Gloves, Boots, Torso, and Pants. The Curse should automatically be undone once the full set is assembled. You can check your Log too, as it will tell you the curse is lifted once you get the complete set. If you've done all that and still get cursed, then yeah it's a bug. Also, Braccus' Ring is not a part of the set.
