Like JSMetalcraft says above "A JD20c hydraulic oil can be used in the front Hilliard unit". But I personally would use Demand Drive fluid when you can get it.The shocks will hold about 500cc in each front and 11000cc in each rear when full and sealed. Though when rebuilding you do not actually measure the oil and will lose a bunch when bleeding air out. To do all shocks I use about 4 quarts of oil, but buy 5 for when I get lazy and really sloppy.
