Whilst the quieter parts of Benalmadena, such as Torrequebrada & Benalmadena Pueblo are easy enough to recommend you scuppered it by needing a heated pool. There are very few in resort to start with, most of the few form part of Spa rather than for open swimming.We will be in Benalmadena for 5 days in July and are taking a daytrip to Alhambra. My concern is that taking the bus is a bit of a hassle : bus to Malaga, bus to Grenada, walking to an urban bus stop, then bus ride to Alhambra. Our preferred bus schedule (the quickest one) would get us to Alhambra at around 11h30, which isn't what we had in mind.
