I hate 9s nier.

Part of this reason is because he is (for me at least) such a complex and interesting character, maybe we could say he is the most human of all Yorha units, or the one who express most emotions of them all. Each Picture Book tells a story. In Route A, you see machines as mostly just enigmatic enemies. In Route B, the Picture Books give you a deeper understanding of the machines as living, thinking, feeling characters. I thought the one about Grun was the most revealing. You have to play it through. At first i didnt like him but i played and it gives you a completely new perspective on things in game. The section for 9S is slightly shorter than 2B’s part. It's route A but playing as 9S. It's a quicker segment of the game as you keep your level.
