I have a 2006 New Holland L185. It will not start, when I sit down in the seat, the instrument panel does not automatically illuminate like normal. Is there a way to check the seat sensor to make sure that is my problem before I just replace it? Or is there anything else I can try to troubleshoot?You could also attach a hose at the bottom of the boom cylinder and hook it up to tractor remote valve and use the tractor hydraulics to raise the boom. If you look at the bottom of the cylinder you will see a plug stick straight out at you. Remove the plug and attach the hose there. All you can do is pull oit.
