It's for when you lose at rock paper scissor, end a flip taunt, etc. Ragdolls are fucking hilarious, the purpose of a killbind is to die in a funny way. I use the equal sign because it's a lot harder to accidentally hit the equal sign. Or it's because weapons disintegrating you was added years after the kill & explode commands and no one thought to add a disintegrate command because it would be useless anyways. Kill is just a base Source command, too. All they added was explode.
