Corrupting authority in the first place, will make the stamina of the bat better. You don't necessarily need the 20-point perk. (grave-summoned) Zombies start at level 20, so it's best to use the best healing-food for them, as the stat-growth foods won't count. (they eat the same things, than the summoned demons.)
Mixing archery with any dagger orjavelinshield combo is more than viable. Having a good thrall is preferable. Damage dealer thrall or pet with sunder, or a very high ehp tank. Farming builds are quite simple, max expertise, max Vitality and put some in whatever damage stat you use and a bit in grit. Combat builds are a bit more complicated but not much more. Max Your damage stat and Vitality and get enough grit and expertise that youre comfortable with. For an authority build it also depends on what're you trying to do.Well, Corrupted Vitality is good for the first 9 levels. The Grotesque Excrescence perk heals more than the Fierce Vitality. Other than that, not worth losing the Fast Healer perk. In the time it takes two Snowhunters to hit they've done a full 25 extra damage.

I can say I myself prefer all-rounder build (mainly STR now, but used AGI before katana nerf/fix. 15 Expertise for all your gathering needs.
