Marked Sanami and Gyomei are undoubtedly stronger than Muichiro but unmarked Rengoku is complete fodder compared to a marked Muichiro. I wouldn’t even say Rengoku is top 8 in the Hashira. Gyomei>Sanami>Muichiro>Giyuu>Obanai>Uzui>Mitsuri>Shinobu>Rengoku. Rengoku being weakest hashira is just your opinion.
