I'm extremely upset. I didn't know requesting a CLI with PenFed would have been a HP. I checked Credit Karma this morning, because it updates every Sunday and what do you know, PenFed inquiry. I should have asked myFICO first, unfortunately I didn't. My credit line went from $3500 to $20000 with a hard pull. Since hard pulls fro Penfed are good. for 30 days, I decided to request a CLI on my other Penfed Power Cash Rewards and my CL went from $3500 to $20000. It looks like 2023 is going to be a good year. if you weren't graced with an extremely rare extremely early 0-1 month CLI from their highest bucket venture X level accounts, you'll likely have to wait the full 6 months/statements before a CLI will be granted. just keep trying every time a statement generates as it's just a SP based on their account pulls.I was approved for the Penfed Promise on 6/20/15 with a $3,000 SL. Re: Surprise auto CLI from Penfed. Logged in to check my Penfed statement and my limit was increased from 10k to 21k! Too darn exciting to not share. I used a BT check in June to max out my 10k and paid it off within a month. Idk if this triggered something.
