Been replaying the calamity mod recently and was curious if Summoners have options for weapons to use during fights that don't actually summon anything. I believe I read a long time ago that if a Summoner is holding a weapon that doesn't do summon damage, the damage of their summons goes down by quite a lot.

Not sure about post DoG in some cases. Ancients Awakened actually ends post-DoG. endgame AA weapons and armor are very usable during both phases of Yharon. I used the daystorm with champion armor for Yharon in my last AA+Calamity playthrough. Some of these balance changes are unnecessarily wack.
