I couldn't find the post but if you're on a Console (if I remember correctly, Switch), it's a known already reported bug that a setting of some sort was blocking the hot spots from showing on screen. Yeah personally deimos' fish spawning has been more annoying than orb vallis or plains. Most of the time for me I'll sit at a hotspot for 5-10 minutes of nothing spawning and throwing in fass/vome residues do nothing. Fishing in other open worlds I see fish spawn basically as soon as I go to a hotspot and pull out a fishing spear.I have seen all caves of Orb Vallis and have fished in them if possible. In general they are the go to places if you want to experience bugs considering fishing. Some examples: Luminos dye disappears right before hitting the water. Fish ignoring luminos dye and refusing to glow.
